Swiss airline Baboo will introduce twice daily flights to Geneva from London City Airport on Sunday (October 25th).
The flights, which are targeted at the business community, will also allow passengers to benefit from onward connections to the Italian cities of Venice and Florence.
Chief executive of London City Airport Richard Gooding said the timing of Baboo’s departures are "perfectly scheduled" for customers looking to make the most out of their day in the Swiss city.
"The on-board product of the airline is excellent and we know it will be well-received by our passengers who demand a high level of service," he commented.
Mr Gooding went on to say that passengers will also benefit from City Airport’s 15-minute check-in time and its location as London’s most centrally located airport.
Morning flights depart from London City Monday to Friday at 09:00 GMT and arrive in Geneva at 11:55 (local time).
Last month, British Airways launched its first long-haul flight to New York from the Docklands airport.
