BA Strike – Alternative Flights and Advice

British Airways have today announced dates of their forthcoming cabin crew strike

British Airways have today announced dates of their forthcoming cabin crew strike.

The dates for the BA strike are:

March: 20th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th

BA has published detailed plans of how they intend to deal with the strike, and has listed the exact flight numbers and flight schedules, including details of the franchise, codeshare and alliance partners, that will be affected.

Flights from London City to and from New York (JFK) and all long haul flights to and from London Gatwick will continue to operate normally and any changes to bookings on these flights are subject to the original fare rules.

For all other flights, until BA finalise their flying schedule, if you are booked to travel between 19 and 31 March 2010, you have the choice of rebooking or cancelling and obtaining a refund.

What should I do?

There is a possibility that the strike will not go ahead. If you have a non-refundable ticket, it might be worth holding on a little longer to see what unfolds.
