Austrian Airlines has launched a new premium service for passengers travelling on flights to the Middle East.
The Vienna-based carrier launched its first flights with the new seating class earlier this week and will offer customers enhanced seats and entertainment options on all flights to Damascus, Syria and Astana, Kazakhstan.
Premium class features seats that can be converted into fully-flat beds, additional leg room and foot and backrests with an integrated massage function.
Passengers will have the choice of specially-prepared multi-course Austrian or Arabic meals during flights and will be served complementary refreshments.
New multi-media entertainment systems will provide films, TV programmes and music stations in four languages.
Meanwhile, Austrian Airlines recently revealed that it would extend its Middle Eastern network with new flights to Saudi Arabia this winter.
The carrier is to launch flights from Vienna to Jeddah in October.
