US cheap flights carrier AirTran Airways will increase its number of flights to Florida this winter.
Daily flights to Orlando and Fort Myers will take effect from Boston, Pittsburgh, Chicago/Midway and Columbus, Ohio from December 17th.
These routes will complement AirTran’s existing schedule to ten cities in the sunshine state, including the recently introduced route to Key West.
AirTran Airways’ senior vice president of marketing and planning Kevin Healey said that the "only thing that covers Florida better is the sunshine itself".
"No-one beats our combination of low fares and high quality service to the land of theme parks and powder white beaches," he commented.
The cheap flights airline will now fly to more cities from Orlando and Fort Myers than any of its rivals.
One of the most anticipated routes is that between Orlando and Branson Airport, a service that takes effect on December 19th.
AirTran Airways has been ranked the top low-cost carrier in the US Airline Quality Rating study for the past two years.
