Air India will launch new daily flights to Frankfurt from Ahmedabad

Air India will launch new daily flights to Frankfurt from Ahmedabad from June 1st.

The flights, which will be operated with a Boeing 747-400, will allow Air India passengers to connect to onward flights to Newark and Chicago from the German city.

In addition to the Frankfurt service, the airline will introduce a new daily flight to London via Mumbai on the same date, with the Mumbai-London-Mumbai section operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft.

Flights to Frankfurt will depart Ahmedabad at 02:45 (local time) and arrive in Frankfurt at 06:50 (local time). The return flight will take off from Germany at 11:10 and land in the Indian city at 22:25.

The airline recently announced that it would be introducing additional flights to Port Blair from Chennai and Kolkata during this summer’s holiday season.

Air India, the country’s national flag carrier, is Asia’s 16th largest airline and serves 28 destinations around the world.

Its main bases are Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
