Air Berlin will be launching new flights from Hanover and Stuttgart when its summer timetable comes into effect on May 1st.
Germany’s second-largest airline will introduce a flight from Hanover to Stockholm and re-launch its Stuttgart to Nice service.
"The flights to Stockholm will leave Hanover at 10:45 [local time] five times a week, to arrive at Stockholm-Arlanda airport at 12:25," an Air Berlin statement said.
"An Air Berlin jet will take off from Stuttgart at 14:10 [local time] every Saturday and touch down on the Cote d’Azur at 15:55."
The airline will also be launching further domestic flights as part of its 2009 summer schedule.
It will operate an additional daily flight from Nuremberg to Dusseldorf from May 11th, while two further daily flights will operate on the Nuremberg-Berlin service from June 15th.
Air Berlin recently acquired a new 76-seater Q400 aircraft which will be used on the new flights.
The airline announced last month that it had entered into a codeshare agreement with China’s Hainan Airlines.
