If you see content hosted through the Skyscanner’s services that you believe to be illegal in your jurisdiction, you can submit a report to Skyscanner by sending an email to illegalcontent@skyscanner.net. Your report must contain the following information:
Your first and last name;
Your email address;
If you are contacting us on behalf of an organisation, the name of the organisation, your title at the organisation, and a statement that you are authorised to act on behalf of the organisation;
The specific URL(s), location(s) and a detailed description of the illegal content that you would like to report;
An explanation summarising the issue, including why you believe the content is illegal and sufficient evidence supporting your allegation, as well as any additional information that would be relevant to our investigation; and
A statement that the information you provide and allegations you make are accurate and complete.
After we receive this information, we will review your case and take action as appropriate. Skyscanner may disclose such notices to relevant third parties if necessary to further our investigation. We will notify you via email about the outcome of our assessment. If we do not receive all the relevant information we may not be able to take any further action.
If our decision to remove content can be appealed pursuant to article 20 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, we will provide a statement of reasons for our decision and information on how to lodge a complaint against the decision. Any complaints will be reviewed manually against our policies and the relevant laws and the outcome of the review will be notified to the complainant.
If a recipient of the service is frequently found to provide manifestly illegal content or someone is frequently submitting notices or complaints that are manifestly unfounded as envisaged in article 23 of regulation (EU) 2022/2065, then we will review the matter in accordance with article 23(3) of regulation (EU) 2022/2065 and, if the repeat offence is confirmed, we will issue a warning to the person in question, and suspend them after a prior warning.
