We need your talent and expertise to help us create the best digital workplace for our employees, you will be working in an Enablement Function tribe with a focus on giving our employees the best tools for the right jobs and you would also be leading on some digital transformation projects for the organisation. It involves having the balancing act between stakeholder management/engagement and using the right technology and tool for your Squad.
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll build a high performing team capable of creating robust, creative products, supporting them with your leadership and management skills. You’ll know all about building scalable systems using cloud technologies and will occasionally get involved with hands on development.
We work as a global team, but in squads of 6 to 12 engineers and using Agile/Lean methodologies. We don't need you to be a master all the details of Scrum or Kanban, but you will be able to support your team in establishing sustainable flow to deliver on their projects. You will need to work with colleagues in other teams and other disciplines together to make sure those projects turn into success for the company. Sometimes this will mean being able to break down shared milestones across multiple teams in multiple locations, sometimes it will mean influencing your peers' thinking, and sometimes it will mean helping ensure the success of others by mentoring and coaching them effectively.
