Great place for a little history for those who have forgotten how we started as a country.

Hipsters have made Billyburg famous but the neighborhood has evolved and you'll now find a sometimes awkward blend of bohemian local and commercial. Great for nightlife though food quality is hit-or-miss so you'll want to do your research. Packed with local boutiques. For kitsch retro night life, this is the place to be. The waterfront location offers great views of Manhattan.

The reconstructed historical Williamsburg is an incredible experience that will take you back in time! The visit is sure to be educational but exciting, with enough here to keep you busy for several days.

We got there just before New Year's Eve. So it was nearly empty! Which we loved. We had all the reenActors to ourselves. They were so knowledgeable and friendly.
