one of the places i like in Florida is a place called deerfield beach not to far from fort lauderdal and about 45 minutes from Miami and south beach. deerfield beach in a fun place right on the pier there is a place to go fishing and the beach is one of the best in Florida with lots of things to do over there the hotel on the beach has mostly all day party's lots of girls and places to eat the 7-11 next to the scooter and bike rental has one of the best Cuban sandwiches. that area you are also close to the hard rock casino if you also feel like taking a drive to the keys its a fun ride and lots of things to do on the way from firework stores to alligator parks and a great Indian reservation i went to key west for the day and had a blast lots of places to see and things to do there from feeding the fish at the dock at the end of the street to buying cigars. all the cigars are not real Cuban they will tell you that they are smuggled out of Cuba but they are not. the hotels in the key west are set up mostly so you can bar hop from hotel to hotel if you want and good food. watch out for the conch fritters they where kinda hard and no taste. there are also a few bars down there that charge $25 a day to park in there lots do that because there is no parking on the streets very hard to find a free spot or a meter spot also find the haunted tours they are lots of fun.
Park behind the palms, a few steps from the sand. Mask, snorkel, fins, dive right in. Count the sea turtles, play tag with the tarpon. Summer.
east coast of florida they just redid the beach area and it is lovely. the water is nice but always some warning or other about stuff biting or currents
