Beautiful place to wander around. Some quaint shops and cafes to enjoy the cream teas. A wonderful castle to tour and in excellent condition as is the National Trust shop that was the stables for the castle. Note the different style for each of the horses housed there.Even horses had a social class, work horses, riding horses and polo ponies.
Dunster is a pretty village in the lea of a hill, from which rises an impressive castle that dominates the village. Dunster lies near the coast, and within Exmoor National Park, on the Somerset side. It’s a lovely village to stop and visit, and very pleasant to wander through admiring the quaint old buildings and unique setting.
