If you love nature and architecture I urge you to visit Lausanne. The lake separating Switzerland and France is one of the most serene place you can sit on the shore of or swim in or even watch swans and ducks floating around. The architecture is spectacular (I was in a EPFl where there all the campuses and modern architecture like the Rolex learning center)

Lausanne was supposed to be exciting because it hosted the Olympics but was ACTUALLY exciting because it has an entire museum full of art by crazy people. Literally. Someone in Switzerland is paid to go to insane asylums and track this stuff down. The art was, well, art. But the STORIES were AMAZING.

In a nutshell, Lausanne is a bustling university town, that boasts a nightlife that is the envy of Suisse Romande. It is host a wide range of multinationals, a vibrant tech startup scene and is home to the International Olympic Committee. Lausanne is the perfect destination for a city getaway, family vacation, cultural excursion or romantic escapade.

The city is towered by the beautiful Cathedral, going down through the medieval old town till the bridge is great. Lovely squares, buildings, Caffes, restaurants. The city breathes History and culture.
