Beautiful architecture. Lack of tourists. Everyone is friendly and speak English. Modern infrastructure with strong hipster vibe - great coffee houses, funky bars, quirky restaurants and electric scooters. Shops are fantastic too!

I was in Poznań 2 year ago and I liked this city. It is so unique city, full of monuments and very nice people. I accommodated there in Ikar Hotel - Hotele Wam Group. There are good prices and comfortable rooms . http://hotelewam.co.uk/621-hotel-ikar-poznan.html

Poznan is well worth a visit if only to see the historic market square ringed by colourful buildings. Many of the buildings have been reconstructed after damage in World War II>

Lovely historic town with two campsites - though only one has a bus link into town. Can be difficult to navigate across in rush hour traffic, but great if you don't need to drive and coincide your trip with one of the medieaval festivals
