This hotel is ideal for a stop-over in the fjords because of its location and since renovation, it has become one of the better properties in the fjord area.The Fretheim hotel is located 5 mins walk to the train station and ferry. It is surrounded by large gardens and overlooking the nearby fjord.This is a traditional Norwegian style building which is very well kept and was fully renovated in the year 2000. Despite the more modern interior, the hotel still has the original facade.The lobby is medium in size and adjoining the lobby is a hall with comfortable furnishings, a seating area and some antiques for show. The brand new feel in this lobby is dominated by wood.The rooms are medium in size and are decorated in pastel shade colours. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
