Beautiful Hospitable 1 Night Stay

Arriving here at 7 pm after a long day we were greeted with the warmest hospitality and highest customer service available. We were greeted at the gates and they immediately took our bags to the room while we were taken for an introduction with mint tea. He was patient while helping us try to find a dinner spot and when we decided we were too tired arranged for us to have dinner in the courtyard. The dinner was delicious, both the courtyard and room were beautiful and everything was incredibly clean. The next morning we woke to a beautiful breakfast spread and the hospitality never stopped including loading our bags into our car. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to be back!

The food at Riad Sayeda Al Hora

The food at Riad Sayeda Al Hora was very disappointing, especially considering the price. Dinner was far too expensive for the quality we received, and the food was only average. The service was also very slow, which made the experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, we did not feel that the food was good value for money and would recommend eating elsewhere in Fes

Disappointment

Nice Riad, beautiful very large room even if the bathroom and shower need a lot of work; we slept here for two nights, but in the end, it became one of the two worst Riads where we stayed during our tour of Morocco for two unpleasant reasons.
On the stairs the first evening, I spotted a cockroach that hid in a hole in the tiles, and since the riad was an old building in the heart of the Medina of Fes, let's say it can be expected, but when I saw one in the room that my husband had to crush with his shoe, I notified the Riad staff, who guaranteed me maximum cleanliness for the next day. It's a shame that the next day, after they had tidied up the room, the corpse of the crushed cockroach was still there; I wonder then how they cleaned? They certainly neither swept nor washed the floor.
Then, staying for two days, I asked about the laundry, a service available with a price list for both washing and ironing. I chose both washing and ironing, but I regretted it because they delivered shirts and pants that were washed but only folded and not ironed. I didn't make useless complaints, but I was upset since I had also paid for the ironing.
In both cases, I didn't like the deception and the lack of transparency; the staff is very kind and helpful, but then things need to be done and not just said.
Good breakfast, varied in both sweet and savory, beautiful room, very beautiful building, but it remains an unpleasant memory; if I were to return to Fes, I would not return to this riad.

Avoid if in Fez

Gloomy place. Room is smelly and the toilet is old. The shower is bad. The shower curtains are old. Tiles have a moldy smell. Avoid if you are in Fez.

The worse experience in Marocco

The only place we stayed in Morocco that fell short of our expectations. The atmosphere was very gloomy, and it was absolutely filthy (the sheets in our room definitely hadn’t been changed, since there were hairs, a piece of candy, and who knows what else in them—I didn’t dare unwrap it all). The bathroom was old, with a rickety shower curtain. The room smelled musty and stuffy. When we saw the pillows completely yellowed under the pillowcase, we decided to leave without hesitation. Definitely a place to avoid—we were supposed to stay there for two nights.
