Despite of being popular as industrial city, Kawasaki has few distinctive attractions like taking industrial tours throughout Kawasaki Industrial area, which only could be done there and Fujiko F Fujio Museum, as one of the strongest reasons for visiting the city. All attraction all over the city is approachable in less than 30 minutes from Tokyo Station. That makes another reason for having Kawasaki in our to-do-list.

Kawasaki-shi, or city, is located between Tokyo and Yokohama, and is perhaps most famous for the motor cycle company with the same name, Kawasaki Motorcycles. It is in Kanagawa-ken (province) and it means Kawa = River, Saki = Cape or peninsula. The city has the ninth largest population in Japan, and is mostly working class neighborhoods, with a concentration of light and heavy industrial sectors. There are a few sights to visit, but it is not known as a tourist attraction. I came here on business, to visit the factory and HQ of a Japanese company I used to work for here. They mostly did design and final assembly and inspection, as much of the manufacturing for Japan, like many countries around the world, is done in China.
