A trip to Viareggio for a stroll along the promenarde - people watching - taking in the sea air - window shopping - checking out the millionaire boat harbour - enjoying a gelati or two - sipping a cafe latte - and just relaxing!!!

Discover one of the finest regions in Italy, Tuscany: stay in VIAREGGIO! VIAREGGIO originally formed as a fishing village today is " The pearl of Versilia". This town, famous not only as a seaside resort, but also for the floats parade held during the Carnival time (February/March), thanks to its numerous palaces in the Liberty Style also acquires a special appeal. Its position is also a precious advantage: surrounded by such historical towns as Florence (100Km), Pisa (20Km), Lucca (30Km), Pietrasanta (10Km) this area offers you the highest concentration of works of art in the world. Within a short distance from the sea and from endless beaches, also an a hinterland rich of natural resources: the Apuan Alps with the famous white marble of Carrara, High Versilia with rural landscapes, the lake area of Massaciuccoli with the presence of archaeological remains and a lot of Roman churches, medieval towns, fortresses and castles that are all a testimony of the history of this territory. Viareggio represents the fusion between nature and culture and the mildness of the climate all year long makes it possible to enjoy this part of Tuscany in any season.
