The home of the rich and famous. Portofino is a dreamy little village in a protected marina where you can sit outside at a waterside cafe while people watching and sipping a cocktail visualizing you are part of the lifestyle until the bill comes! It is worth the trip, it makes for a fun afternoon but my recommendation is to stay in Santa Margherita Ligure or Rapallo.

Portofino is a picture perfect fishing village on the Italian Riviera. No wonder it attracts so many people – some come here to relax for a few days, others just visit for a few hours. You can spot celebrities here and there, especially during the summer. You can get a picture of the famous harbor view from the castle that is located on a hill above the village.
