Rome’s and Italy’s major international airport. It is comfortable and efficient most of the time and features a wide variety of duty free shops and dining options.

A busy airport attached to a Hilton Hotel. Fiumicino (also known as Leonard Di Vinci) Airport boasts substantial shopping opportunities. If you want to do some last minute shopping before your flight, you will have lots of options here ranging from designer stores to less expensive book & postcard shops. Travelers to/from Rome can take one of the many trains that runs from Rome's Termini Centrale. This is a fairly inexpensive and efficient approach, especially if you are not carrying too much luggage.
