Tralee is, more than anything, a launching pad for the Dingle Peninsula. Cute little village with the necessities for a sightseeing trip (B&Bs, petrol, groceries, etc) but also a nice village itself with pubs and a well appointed hostel.
Cute town center where I happened upon all the Rose of Tralee festivities! There was a great cover band and the crowds weren't terribly rowdy.
Great place to stay for access to the Dingle Peninsula. Absolutely stunning windmill. Reasonable services, including a well-regarded hostel that is full in season.
