Spacious apartment in great location, simple but with everything you need!
Great apartment to stay near Sami. Large apartment with different equipment (wifi, towels, kitchen utensils). We had a sea view apartment that in the morning gave us beautiful sunrises. Air conditioning included in the price.
The accommodation is forever simple even if you see that the furnishings were purchased recently, but for us it was perfect. The owner has always been very kind and smiling and while not speaking the same language we always understood each other. For those interested the apartment is very close to Melissani caves (unfortunately we did not see them because there was an hour waiting...). The only thing I Recommendation is to bring caps if you want to sleep with the windows open because the other side of the structure overlooks a street and then the noise could bother you; if you close the windows and use the air conditioner you will hear almost nothing. Thank you so much for everything!

Disasterous ... disinterested .....totally unhelpful
Had a prepaid booking 20th-21st June thro Hotels.com at this property ... fully confirmed.
On arrival at 17:30 the owner refused our booking and claimed he did not deal with Hotels.com.
We are both in our 70's , arriving with over 50kg of luggage in 30c heat with no foodm or drink .... now nowhere to stay.
The owner could not have been more unhelpful, less disinterested in our situation.
In over 40 years of visiting Greece we have never experienced this lack of Greek Hospitality at all. No suggestions ... just ignored us.
We sat outside for over 2 hours trying to resolve our problem and just when we had thro' Hotels.com he offered us a room provided we paid again.
The ratings looked good and that's why we booked in July 2021 .... but hey .... if you do go here just go prepared that you will be on your own if there is an issue.

A wonderful stay
We arrived for our stay at Dimitri's in mid September 2018, and we're instantly made to feel welcome by Sotoris the owner of these beautiful Apartments. Located in the beautiful village of Karavomilos, half way between, Sami and Agia Effimia on the eastern side of this island paradise, and only a couple of minutes walk from the beautiful Mellisilani lake, beaches and tavernas, it really is a gem. The apartments are very clean and suitably equipped for your self catering needs, with comfortable beds, a TV, shower room with hairdryer, and views to the lovely Ionian sea, this is a great place to stay and relax. Upon our arrival, Sotoris showed us to our room and gave us a nice bottle of wine and fresh eggs, which was a really nice touch, he's a lovely fella and nothing is too much trouble for him, he always has a smile for you and invites you to sit on his terrace to drink coffee and chat a while. As a frequent traveler to Kefalonia over a number of years I can honestly say, that, I have no hesitation in recommending this gem of a place to all Kefalonia lovers. See you again next season Sotoris. Yiammas.

Nice accommodation with a good location
This property is at a good location near the sea and the port of Sami (reachable by car). It has enough parking space in front and is clean, well-maintained and equipped. Our two rooms were on the ground floor, they were large and had verandahs in front.
One small complaint: the mattresses were a little too hard - but this depends on individual preferences.
There is a beach nearby but it is small and pebbled and with larger stones in the water, so you need special shoes (also good against urchins) - can be bought at every corner. There is another beach, larger and sandy, at the nearby camping site, within walking distance. Another two good beach options, very good but accessible with a car, are Antisamos beach and Myrtos beach.
The proprietor is very helpful and friendly and brings fresh eggs from time to time to all his guests. We had a great time at Dimitris Studios, we thank the owners once again and recommend the place wholeheartedly!

satisfactory
very clean studios, well equipped (air conditioning, TV, all the necessary), well positioned near to famous beaches. There are studios in front of the sea and Itaca but others on the road where there is a lot of traffic (you need to take windows closed). Perhaps different prices should be applied according the rooms.
