Super relaxing short stay!
Very relaxing short stay!
We were completely satisfied with our 2 overnight stays. Although it is an older hotel, it lacks nothing for a relaxing stay. The service-oriented, very friendly, and helpful staff contributed to our sense of well-being as soon as we arrived. Our small, cozy room as well as the other hotel areas were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. After a long day of excursions, we were able to relax wonderfully in the hotel's own wellness area with a swimming pool and sauna. The food in the restaurant is of excellent quality, and the breakfast buffet also leaves nothing to be desired. We would also like to highlight the sustainability aspect here, which impressed us positively compared to other hotels. The buffet is designed so that there is no table waste for the guest, as packaging is completely avoided. We will definitely come back and are very happy to recommend this establishment.

High feel-good factor! Short vacation in Trier-Olewig at the Hotel Blesius Garten.
In the footsteps of the Romans. Short vacation in Trier-Olewig at the Hotel Blesius Garten.
At the end of May, my wife and I were guests at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights.
The thoroughly nice weather contributed, among other things, to the fact that we were able to use the very beautifully designed beer garden daily after our extensive tours in and around Trier.
We really liked the warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel.
The staff and the service were very attentive and friendly.
The house beer, especially the dark one, tasted very good to us.
The breakfast also lacked nothing.
We found the online table reservation for dinner to be very useful.
At dinner, we were served very nicely and also had a delicious meal.

Charming hotel with a microbrewery and beergarden. Some aspects are a little dated, but everything is spotless and well maintained. Rooms have a pleasant country house feel. Situated a few km out of Trier, it's walkable to town (around 40 mins). Surrounded by steep green slopes of riesling vineyards it's a peaceful place to stay. We ate at the restaurant, where there was a nice buzz on a Friday evening. Vegetarian/vegan meals are available alongside hearty biergarten dishes as well as craft beer and wine from local producers.
The hotel has a small indoor pool and a sauna, free to use for guests. We didn't this time round, but it looked good.
Buffet breakfast was good as well. Staff are pleasant and spoke some English to make up for our limited German.

If a yearly meeting takes place again in Trier, we will choose Blesius Garten.
On May 19th/20th, we had our annual meeting of former employees of the Teacher Training Institute ILF from all over Rhineland-Palatinate. With 22 people, we were able to spend a lively and conversation-filled evening in a very pleasant atmosphere. The catering and logistics of the hotel were perfect. The hotel was very accommodating during the preparation of the meeting. Overall, the correspondence via email and phone was straightforward, prompt, and effective.

an all-in resort in pleasant environs
we stayed above the sun terrace looking down at the bier garten. It is a nice treed setting by a creek and below vineyards. a bus stop outside takes you right to the Roman gate in old town Trier. bus 81 or bus 6 on weekdays. the reception helpful with bus info, but note return not to the same stop but dismount at oliweg entrance and follow short path to back of hotel. otherwise u r in for a long ride. For return take stop 5 near the gate and info centre. This resort has everything with a pleasant bier garten, great breakfasts, sports lounge and cozy nooks if eating inside and the garten has a retractable roof. Had the pool to myself and the streamside path is pleasant and crossing over the road you can access vineyard walkways with great views.
I wasn't in love with my bed, but my spouse had no problem...that's my only complaint.
