Excellent apartment
Nenad, the owner, is very helpful and gives you a map and an overview of where to go on the very first night.
Highly recommend

Excellent place to stay
He showed u around the apartment, sat down with a map and planned our two days stay.
Really nice, open and honest man. Rooms clean, well stocked with a clean kitchen and bathroom.
Nicely located to nearby bakery and supermarket and close to the centre.

One night stay in split
The apartment itself was incredibly clean and had everything I needed. As a solo traveller I also felt very safe. Neada was able to reccomend some of the highlights to see in split as well as restaurants and good places for breakfast.
I would definitely stay here again.

Warning: Stay Away! Deceptive Business Practices
The House is under significant construction work. Here's what I found when I arrived: piles of bricks, cement-mixing machine, and construction workers. The House is not fit for occupation. According to the plethora of neighbours with whom I spoke, the property has been like this for a number of months and is expected to be so for several more. After asking a kind passerby to dial the phone number of the (apparent) owner, Nenad, and passing me the phone, you'll never guess what happened. Well, the owner claimed that this address was nothing more than a meeting point and that I should wait 20 minutes outdoors for his colleague, Cica, who will accompany me to the Palace and settle me into a room. Luckily it wasn't raining, but I was upset at being deceived and inconvenienced. I had paid for a taxi to the House's address on purpose to NOT be inconvenienced with manouvering a suitcase on cobblestones and stairs, stairs, and more stairs. The owner made no offer to reimburse me for the taxi. To add insult to injury, both Nenad and Cica "explained" how I should be grateful to stay in the Palace. The AUDACITY! Of course, they tried to explain "I always contact our guests 24 hours before arrival to make proper meeting arrangements". Ladies and gentlemen, I booked one-week's stay about 3 MONTHS in advance of travel, and these people try to email me while I'm on the plane crossing the Atlantic for what? To explain to me how I should be grateful that I'm staying in a Palace? I have travelled to about 25 countries thus far and this hotel experience makes my personal list of Top 3 worst experiences. If I WANTED to stay in a noisey and tourist-infested area, I would have booked it myself. On PURPOSE, I book elsewhere. That's MY choice as a tourist. As a seasoned traveller, I also know that Wi-Fi service is unreliable in buildings like the Palace, due to the achitecture and infrastructure. Again, if I WANTED to stay there, I would've booked it myself. I shall return to Split; it's a lovely city. But I will definitely forego all Split 'apartment' advertisements and opt for a pricey hassle-free experience at a four-to-five-star hotel on the Riva.

Excellent Guest House
The guesthouse is situated in an excellent location to access the port (our departure), railway station (our arrival) and to see the wonderful town of Split. The small streets and pastel stone surrounding the house are exceptionally beautiful, with just a two minute walk to the old palace. Initial impressions lead you to believe this may just be another guesthouse, however, the clean and air conditioned rooms with their comfortable furnishings set Dalmatian house apart. The traditional apartment and beautiful views are only surpassed by Malena's hospitality, a wonderful warm reception was received followed by fantastic advice making our night in Split that little bit more enjoyable. Thank you, if we return to Split we will definitely be trying to book again.
