Page is a nice place to visit in the middle of the desert in Arizona. Page marks one of the main entry points to Lake Powell, and has a Wal Mart and other key facilities that you will need before loading up your houseboat.

This tiny little Navajo town has so much to offer. Lake Powell is beautiful. Glen Canyon Dam is impressive. It's close to the north rim. It's beautiful. There's everything you need there, and you can get a tour of the slot canyons from the locals. It's one of my favorite spots around the Grand Canyon.

Situated on the borders of beautiful Lake Powell. If you wanna stay there, book way in advance or you have to sleep in your car. The best place in town to stay is without any doubt the only B&B in town : http://www.canyoncolors.com/.
Don't miss the boat tour to Rainbow Bridge : a must see !
And this is really awesome : http://www.hummeradventures.net/tours
