Macon is Georgia's fourth largest city, with a population since the city was merged into the greater Bibb County, of about 155 thousand people. The city has been called the heart of Georgia because it's located in the middle of the state. There are many historical site, including the Allman Brother's Band Musem, the Ocmulgee Mounds historical site, the Dunlap House, and much, much, more.

Nice little town with some interesting architecture and some cafes and restaurants that appears to be having a long overdue downtown revival

Macon Georgia is the home of southern rock. Macon is located about 1 1/2 hours south of Atlanta and is the cross roads to all others parts of Georgia.
