Fun college town that is absolutely obsessed with the Tennessee Volunteers. Can't walk down the street without seeing someone in Vols gear. But a nice manageable downtown, and you can be by the river in 15 minutes. Definitely strip mall vibe anywhere outside the downtown

Pretty nice city for the size. You sort of get the big town feel in a much smaller package. Good location near the Smokies.

Knoxville is a charming city known for its great food and southern hospitality. You'll find the University of Tennessee here, and the entire city seems to be overflowing with school spirit - go vols!
