Cute little western downtown right on the river, nice greenbelt and bike path for a stroll. Fewer restaurants taking advantage than you'd expect given the pretty setting.
Stayed a hotel by the falls. What we though about a fall should be very high and large. But the fall here is just a man made fall and it is ground level. Not the common falls you saw before.
After visiting the beautiful sights inside Yellowstone, the Idaho falls is disappointing. The falls is shallow but wide, it's built on top of a dam and mainly used for generating electricity. The surroundings is quite pretty. In early May, the weather is absolutely gorgeous in the 70s, with lots of ducklings and goose gathered around the water area.
A great place to visit as you head up to Yellowstone, just make sure you pass thru it and don't stay!
