Fort Wayne, located in northeast Indiana, is a growing medium sized town with a population of about a quarter million people. It was incorporated in 1829, and named after the Revolutionary War Hero, General Mad Anthony Wayne (one of General George Washington's favorite officers) who defeated the Miami Confederation of Tribes based in Kekionga (present day Fort Wayne).

Fort Wayne is the 2nd largest city in Indiana; however with a population of 3-4L I would rather call it a big town. It is not too fancy but it is home to kind and loving people who are oh so polite. It is laid back and relaxed and often quiet with only birds chirping in your backyard. The downtown is gradually growing but will take few years to reach it's potential. Do visit for a break from the city life.

The best of the little cities. I spent so much time there growing up. My high school proms were there. I love the malls, and I love the costume shop right down town. I wish I could remember the name of it. The only thing that ever bugged me about Fort Wayne was that it flooded every spring and we all had to go and help bag sand to try and save the special spots.

I'm really not used to being in an enviroment like fort wayne. To me it looks trashy.
