Cute downtown! Definitely check out Lou Taubman's for authentic cowboy outfitting...well for mostly men. I didn't care for the overly bejeweled women's wear.
HA HA!!! Memories of this place.....wow! Sunsets and sunrises will make you stand, stare, drool!
Everything here is still so wild and yet the people are so gentle and kind The wild horses here have had genetic testing and their blood lines go directly to the spanish arabs that were brought by the Conquistidors-centuries ago Even the wild Mountain sheep are pretty much without fear of man here - Go up what the locals here have named "Oh my God mountain "and visit the ancient Medicine Wheel that has been in continual prayer use for more than 2,300 years -You have to hike in -It is still used and declared sacred by the native peoples of this area to get a true sense of the soltude that the BigHorn Mountains offer here- There are also some in tact western movie ranches where some of the Early western Movie Stars came to live it is reat !
