City of about 275,000, lots to do and see. Don't expect water activities here though. Beware of drivers; they are not that friendly. It's a cowboy way of life here.

Stayed in Amarillo on the way to New Mexico. Texas at its most native and cowboy country. It was hot and dusty but the food was good.
