Amazing city. I have been a couple of times now and I can’t wait to get back. The food lovers will have a blast. Partiers, too. There’s something for everyone! VERY budget friendly.

Thailand is perfect destination for families, backpackers, solo travelers, budget travelers and what not. Food has unique taste but you gotta develop basil flavor for your buds if you want to enjoy the authentic thai food. Beaches are fun and serene especially, Koh Panghan, Koh lipe and Silver Beach in Samui. Nightlife is famous globally ;) but the best way to explore to get a bike as soon as you land.
