Love'd it.. never been before to Sweden... If you'r Dutch or German the written text on boards etc are easy to read and understandable without learning any Swedish. Love the bars beer and shoping centers. Nature is awesome people are different. Not used to say hi on the streets.
Göteborg is without a doubt my favorite city in Sweden with its friendly attitude and green environment. The city offers plenty of adventures; choose from one of many food markets, shopping, parks, museums, amusement parks and much more. There's also plenty of opportunities for a day trip to one of many smaller authentic cities along the coast (Västkusten).
I visited here years ago when staying with my friend's family that lived in this rural community. The people were fantastic, the food I had was amazing, and we had a great time using the bus system to get around and explore.
Beautiful city, flooded with snow. Felt a lot like home it the straight streets, the docking area and the beautiful bridges over the calm river.
