I just automatically like the places no one seems to go. Almeria is way off in the desert-y fringe of Andalucia, on the sea, and--here's the major selling point--it's the last city in Spain where you not only get *free* tapas, but you also get to choose whatever you want. It seems unsustainable, honestly. But until the bar owners get some sense, I will cheerfully graze around this funky little city and be grateful for every great bite.
