Not too much to do in Honiara. There are a couple good resturants, but otherwise this is a sticky city, with streams of betel nut juice flying all around you. The city is right on the ocean, but you should definitely leave town if you want to get in the water. There is some excellent wreck diving right off shore, but otherwise tourists usally fly into Honiara and try to fly out to the Western Province or elsewhere the same day.
