Literally one of the worst places I've been in my entire life. Run down, dirty, poverty stricken, literally falling to pieces. a tragic waste of time and money. awful food, and awful attitudes from people, terrible accommodation. I cannot talk poorly enough about this city. zero stars, if it were possible.
Bucharest is an interesting city, a crossroads of many empires which ruled here before to post war communism to modern day revolution. French architecture, Slavic food, Gypsy culture, Ceausescu's communism, and don't forget Vlad the Impaler.
#Bucharest exceeded my expectations in every way! An amazing destination that was interesting, historical and absolutely someplace I would return to!
Interesting and very walkable city. Don't miss strolling in the parks , People's Palace or the pedestrian shopping area. Very reasonable prices. Actually cheap city. Enjoy!
