El Nido is an incredibly picturesque town, squeezed in between towering limestone cliffs. The bayfront looks out towards the islands of the Bacuit Archipelago and the town buildings go right up to the edge of the sea. The best view in town is from Mount Taraw, on the cliffs behind. El Nido has plenty of trees and flowering plants, and its own nice beaches. It makes a great base for exploration.

As a traveller, whenever they ask me... what's the most beautiful place you have been to. i would maybe say El Nido. Delicious and cheap fish and the best views I have seen in my whole life. Also, not very touristic, which is always better.

It's one of the best places on earth if you are into beaches, water adventure, snorkelling, & clear waters. Laid back island vibe. So much to do here-island hopping on a boat to explore hidden beaches, traverse in water to lagoons, walk on snake island, play in Cadlao lagoon, zip line across a gorgeous backdrop for $15 superman style, take a side seat on a trike, or eat fresh seafood beachfront. Hands down, El Nido is friggin' El Fantastico.
