I loved it! The best thing was the ocean it so clear the environment is so peaceful and safe.
My family had such a fun time admiring the islands, lagoons, and beaches. One thing I suggest is that try to take a flight from Manila to El Nido airport as the ride from Puerto Princesa airport to El Nido took a lot of energy for us. It was about 4-5 or maybe 6 hours ride. The road was very windyk/curvy (5 hr stretch) and made us carsick. The nature scenery was love though.
El Nido is an incredibly picturesque town, squeezed in between towering limestone cliffs. The bayfront looks out towards the islands of the Bacuit Archipelago and the town buildings go right up to the edge of the sea. The best view in town is from Mount Taraw, on the cliffs behind. El Nido has plenty of trees and flowering plants, and its own nice beaches. It makes a great base for exploration.
As a traveller, whenever they ask me... what's the most beautiful place you have been to. i would maybe say El Nido. Delicious and cheap fish and the best views I have seen in my whole life. Also, not very touristic, which is always better.
