Lots to do and see here....if you have a boat, or get a boat taxi. The surrounding islands are beautiful.
One of the best places for a vacation. The snokelling was amazing many untouched reefs. Was able to go on a catamarin thru Tradewins Cruise club so went to remote locations. Even the one restaurant had to be opened for our group to eat. A wonderful vacation destination.
More amazing than I could have ever expected! Bocas del Toro is a set of islands of the Caribbean coast of Panama. The weather is balmy and the beaches are beautiful with calm, clear, warm water in the protected spots as well as beaches for surfing, Getting around is done mostly by taxi boat service and each part of the islands is unique and special with different types of activities and wildlife.
It's an amazing island in Panama. Local stores are run by locals and foreigners. It's very inexpensive area and it definitely has lots of character. The people are great and very welcoming. The islands are accessible by small boats and it cost close to nothing to travel back and forth.
