Pokhara was one of the first places I traveled solo as a woman, and the sight of the Himalayas at dawn over the town and from the mountain is still one of the most divine experiences I've ever had. A great place to slow down, do some yoga, or even leap off a mountain (with a paragliding guide, of course.)
Pokhara is a small town nestled along the lake Phewa. The sightseeing here is limited, as the town is a hub point for those who'd love to hike around the mountainous regions of the country. There are two main attractions here: a temple right in the middle of the lake and a World Peace Stupa located at the top of the mountain. Both of them are only accessible by boat, and you'll need to hike to reach the stupa.
Pokhara 'the city of seven lake'is beautiful and peaceful travel destination of Nepal. boating in fewa lake, paragliding, Annapurna Himalayan range view from Sarangkot and peach stupa is amazing. caves, waterfall and museums are interesting. Love to been more than 1000 times in heaven of earth.
Pokhara is a laid-back city on Phewa Lake of Nepal. As a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas, it attracts a lot of trekkers and backpackers each year. It's a great place to visit especially because of the amazing view of the mountains and lake.
