A great place to relax and have a good day in the beach and in the night go to a club
This is yet another gorgeous little beach town nestled amongst the cliffs of the Pacific Coast. The charm of this city lies in its old town where you'll find museums, theatres and some absolutely wonderful restaurants. Make sure you make it back to the beach to watch the sunset though - they are simply breathtaking.
Amazing place to trip with the complete family. Kids-safe. Calm ocean. Nice people.
In our short period in Mazatlan we opted for the scenic drive to the Golden Zone. Endless beaches with gorgeous resorts. We avoided the shops and instead throughly enjoyed beach time. However, be prepared to be approached by vendor after vendor. There are many water sport options all along the beaches from jet skis to parasailing. When your hungry the golden zone offers numerous options. My favorite part was the drive and seeing the diverse options available in Mazatlan - street markets, historic towns, art all over the streets and of course the beautiful scenery. I will definitely want to come back to discover more.
