Malta is very laid back but it’s not what it used to be. I’ve been three times 1993, 1996 and 2019. It’s not as friendly as it was and I found it really dirty outside Valletta, especially in Qawra.
Luqa is the name of the airport. Malta is awesome, with wonderful landscapes. Valleta is so historical and a very good place for a vacation. The see is all around. Also, I would recommend the islands: Blue Lagoon (Comino), Gozo.
Lots of friendly English people there once you talk to them. Buying things like food in Euro can be a bit expensive there
Ideal for anyone. It has places for families, solo travellers (inc. Females), nightlife, beaches, festivals, business etc.
