"pronounced pache"
More than a few times I thought to myself, "How did I get here?" It seemed like such a random place to come in Hungary, since most people just hit up Buda and Pest and then go right up the Danube river, but I was glad I took some time in Hungary's second city.
For one thing, it was beautiful and quaint, with the exception of some very nasty looking communist-era high rises that mar the skyline. It's a young city on account of the university there, with the bars and restaurants to feed and water the student population.
This city gets my wanderer's mark of approval.

It's a very nice town and good wine region. I go back.
