The second largest city in Hungary that lies in the eastern portion of Hungary. When you walk the historic downtown area, you'll notice bullet holes in some of the walls that date from World War I. The town has a historic feel, but with some modern twists. Check out the restaurants that embody this theme. I also recommend checking out that bathhouses.
A city that rises out of the Hungarian plains or seems to do so. I visited en route to Lvov/Lviv, but it's worth a day anyway.
