Big Nomad community in Antigua Guatemala. You still can experience the Mayan culture, a non commercial one in comparison to the neighbor country. the food is amazing and they have incredible natural places and views. You will love it.
Most people tell you to get out of the city as quick as you can. I must admit I lived in Guatemala for almost a year and very rarely ventured into the city. But if you do decide to go there are a lot of beautiful historic buildings to explore and some really great food to eat!
It is an amazing city! You can do everything!!! You can hike volcanoes, explore Mayan ruins, enjoy the beautiful lakes, cultures & the people are very kind.
