Beautiful classic European German citiy. The city which was destroyed during world war 2 was completely rebuild as it was before. An effort that started when it was part of East Germany and even more when the Germany was united. Dresden has rich history and used to be a very important city/kingdom in the mid evil. Don't miss the treasure museum.
We have been here several times and it is a pleasure to visit this city. It is like an outdoor museum with a lot to see even if you don't go inside of any of the great museums located here. Take a day and see the sights and remember it was all bombed out during WWII.
Even a short visit to Dresden reveals the beautiful city that was once a cultural capital of Europe. Restoration of the city after the devastating bombing in World War II is still ongoing.
Beautiful and interesting City! Take your time to visit all the famous spots. The Christmas market is the best!
