Although it's one of the largest city in the Bavarian region, I find it a quaint and honey city specially the old town.. it's part of Germany's romantic road. I love walking along the Maximilian Strasse with its charming and colorful buildings. Lots of shops and cafes along this main road. It was s pity we didn't have much time as we had to rush to enjoy the Christmas markets.

So I'm a bit biased since I live here, but I really love Augsburg. It's a very liveable city. Not exactly non-stop excitement, but great food, amazing history and a compact downtown near a huge national forest.
