Carcassonne is a unique medieval town, only 45km away. The views of the skyline from a distance will take your breath away. The old city offers many restaurants, walks and architectural sights.

A fantastic unesco world heratage site. Well worth having the audio tour guide to take you round. Can get busy at peak holiday times so plan ahead. Much to see as it's almost a small town in itself. Lots of history and great photo opportunities!

Carcassone is one of the most visited cities of all France. The city is divided by the river , the "new" part of town is pleasant with lots of Cathedrals and some interesting points. On the other side there's the medieval walled city. Outstanding ! On a one hour train from Toulouse, it's a must see definitely

This city is a must see if you are anywhere nearby. It is one of the coolest places I have ever been. Since the city is still very functional, it is one hell of an experience.
