Amazing! You must go. Respect what you get. Do not go expecting to be pampered. Locals are great and you have to just respect the way things are there. You will love it if you are not expecting it to be luxurious. It’s a different way of life. You have to go with the flow. If you need help there ask and you will receive. Enjoy the beaches and outdoors. We try to go yearly.
Great small airport, no traffic, close to some of the most beautiful beaches!
I love Costa Rica. Liberia is easy to fly into and close to many adventures.
Not much to do in the city itself, but serves as a gateway to the northern border with Nicaragua and also as a main point for volcano tours to Rincon de la Vieja.
