Bucaramanga; specifically the Albania Barrio is a great spot to find a day spa, your choice of 3 shopping malls within a $2 taxi ride, a soccer field, transit to Cucuta and a host of restaurants and attractions... I made a blog on my channel living spanglish spending 4 months here.
A simple city with simple things to do. But just outside of the city is amazing nature and it is close to other places to enjoy nature like Chicamocha. Not so far is a place to paraglide over the city of Bucaramanga and enjoy the quiet town for more than it is. Downtown is lively when during the afternoon with a lot of street food. The main street is full of clubs and upscaled places to eat as well as pubs for beer drinkers.
