Lençois, portal of Chapada Diamantina, a regular destination of Bahia Guide (1st link on google). This National Parc of Chapada Diamantina is also known as the Brazilian Grand Canyon. A marvelous place to stay, relax, hike, swim, go up in the mountains, go down in one of the numerous caves.
It is advised to keep Lençois as your base-camp and do all your local trips from there.
