The sleepy capitol of the Beni province. There isn't a whole lot to do in town. There are a couple decent restaurants on the plaza. Trinidad is more of a stopping point for people going on to or from Moxos, or interested in doing river trips towards the Amazon region of Bolivia

There are some decent restaurants on the plaza, but there really is almost nothing set-up here for tourism. Rent motorbikes and cruise around the city, and go check out what is happening at the ports. I found a cargo ship and negociated my way five days upstream. You can buy cheap hammocks and mosquito nets and cheap fishing gear in the markets around town. This is a place to make your own adventure into the Amazon.
